James Bond has been intriguing men and women alike for more than 50 years now.. So with the release of the latest James Bond 007 film “Skyfall” everyone is anticipating the fashion. “What will James Bond 007 be wearing?” ”Skyfall” has all the usual Bond trappings: the Bond swagger, the Bond girls and the Bond drink (yes, the martini, shaken, not stirred returns). So let’s checkout the shoes James Bond wore in “Skyfall.”
This is certainly of great interest for all shoe-enthusiasts and the answer to the question, who made the new James Bond shoes, is not really surprising, it’s Crockett & Jones.
The biggest and best-known British-owned shoemaker is Crockett & Jones, currently run by the great, great grandson of its co-founder, Charles Jones.
There are worse things you could do for your brand than your landing a product in a James Bond film. These films have been known to showcase luxury cars, watches, suits and men’s shoes. For as much as the 007 franchise captivates both genders, it’s essentially the male dream that gets lived out on the screen with each new incarnation. Let’s face it, there are plenty of male action heros out there, but none manage to save the world in such style.
However, while Tom Ford suited up Daniel Craig in Skyfall, English shoemakers Crockett & Jones have landed the coup of putting shoes on his feet. Four styles from the brand are worn by Daniel Craig “James Bond” in the new film.
This shoe is a Army-type boot. A Derby-style, because the facing is easily adjusting to your instep of the feet. This time the Goodyear welting has been done all around the heel and gives more durability.
