Guess who turned 40 today? Yea! You guessed it, me! I have to admit I thought that turning the big 40 would be hard for me, but surprisingly it feels the same.

I was really struggling with turning forty because it meant that I am getting older and yes I am no longer in my thirties. So I made a promise to myself to turn forty today january 9th, 2013 and do it my way and never again be weighed down by a number, any number and live my life to the best of my ability and be thankful for family, friends and business associates and never ever forget to always do me.

I do feel blessed that I’m happy, healthy and fabulous at forty. I have to give thanks to God Almighty and to my children for keeping me grounded. It has not been an easy road, but nothing in life is ever easy you have to challenge yourself and work hard to succeed.
